All Permalux paint products are produced here in Western Australia at our purpose built factory in Canning Vale.

Raw materials are selected from our suppliers based on quality. This is an essential element for the finished product to be of superior quality. Our manufacturing personnel are highly trained and their work practices are audited on a regular basis to ensure our strict procedures are adhered to.

In accordance with our Quality Assurance Certification, every procedure is documented and checked during production. The products are tested in our laboratory at various stages during production to ensure the same high quality is replicated in each batch.

In the developmental stage of a new product, we use a qualified Consultant Paint Chemist, who has extensive experience over many years with several large paint and protective coating manufacturers here in Australia. He provides updates on advances in the technology of paint, and tests the finished sample.

We invite input from our raw material suppliers, who are in the front line of the industry. Our team of management and production personnel also provide content as, collectively, their many years of experience and expertise assists in the full development of the new product.

We utilise independent testing and analysis facilities at Curtin University to check results on durability, coverage, flexibility and other relevant requirements, depending on the coating being developed.

A strong focus is placed on safety and care of the environment. Products and the manufacturing process are assessed for their impact in these areas to ensure any negative effects are kept to a minimum. Our production facility and offices have been built with safety and the environment in mind.

The factory is kept clean and tidy, and raw materials and finished goods are stored in accordance with all government regulations.

Our workplace is a non-smoking environment for the safety and health of our staff and customers.
